ABOUT KATHLEEN TAPPING

Kathleen has been working independently as an Interior Decorator for the past nine years and joined CDECA two years ago. She apprenticed while working for a North Vancouver design and furniture establishment for eight years previous to setting out on her own. Having an obvious enjoyment guiding customers in choosing colours, fabric and furniture, Kathleen attended a North Vancouver Interior Decorating College for further knowledge.

Balancing the desire to further this career and raising two rambunctious boys, was a challenge. Perseverance paid off, and Kathleen is gradually building a solid foundation of returning clients. She is ably assisted by family members with specialty fields involving high end painting, furniture making and French polishing. These are considerable assets when thinking projects through to completion.

At present Kathleen is on the B.C. CDECA board putting her experience in the Decorating world to good use.
